Muenden Coat of Arms Münden, Niedersachsen

Münden, more popularly known as Hannoversch Münden, is located between the rivers Werra and Fulda, which join here to form the Weser. It is surrounded by the Reinhardswald, Bramwald and the Kaufunger Wald, and has 700 picturesque 16th and 17th century half-timbered houses, old churches and towers. Many of these Fachwerkhäuser (half-timbered houses) can be reasearched and seen at the 574 Häuserspuren site.
