Duderstadt
The medieval city of Duderstadt lies just south of the Harz Mountains and is reputed to have over 500 half-timbered houses. The central feature of the town is the Obermarkt [upper market sqare] with the Rathaus [13th - 16th c.] and the charming fountains. Just east of the Rathaus is the church of St. Cyriakus or Oberkirche [14th - 16th c.]
