Schloß Mespelbrunn, Hessen

Schloß Mespelbrunn lies in a quiet valley of the Spessart between Frankfurt and Würzburg. Because of its hidden locaction it has survived wars without damage and is still in its original form. The castle is still owned by the Echter/Ingelheim family, who lives in the south wing of the castle.
