St-Maclou

Saint Maclou, started in 1437, consecrated in 1521 and damaged in 1944, is another fine example of the late Gothic style. The main tower was added in 1868. The carved doors with biblical scenes were probably carved by Jean Goujon. Behind the church is an ossuary, a rare surviving example of a medieval cemetery for the burial of plague victims.
